Environmental Policy
ProblemShared is an online mind health platform. We are a practitioner-led, CQC-regulated community of experts, working together with individuals and organisations including NHS trusts and integrated care boards, universities, private medical insurance providers and occupational health providers. We provide access to the highest-quality mental healthcare services and neurodevelopmental assessments for autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and specific learning difficulties, as well as post-diagnostic care and support.
We are a fully digital company, providing services via our secure on-line platform to facilitate wide, equitable access to our support.
ProblemShared have established a sustainability programme considering the impact of environmental, social, and governance topics on operations, and how our own operations impact on wider society.
Our direct organisational activities have minimal impact on the environment, however, we recognise the impact of our value chain activities including procurement and use of digital infrastructure that can result in carbon emissions.
This Environmental Policy is part of our commitment to minimise the impact of our operations on the environment where practically and economically feasible.
ProblemShared will:
• Ensure prevention of pollution and compliance with all relevant environmental legislation by acting responsibly.
• Review operational environmental impacts annually to promote continual improvement of environmental performance.
• Seek to minimise environmental impacts where possible through our travel and procurement policies and carbon reduction plan.
• Take pride in being environmentally responsible and ensure that this Environmental Policy is communicated and implemented at all levels across the organisation.
• Engage with suppliers and contractors to ensure that goods and services meet environmental standards and, in turn that they can demonstrate and progressively improve their own company’s environmental performance.
• Manage business waste taking into consideration the waste hierarchy – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.
ProblemShared will review our progress and annually update this Environmental Policy and targets in accordance with best practice.
This Environmental Policy is available to all interested parties.
