We’re proud to share that following our very first inspection, the Care Quality Commission (CQC) has rated ProblemShared 'Good' overall – with an 'Outstanding' rating in the Responsive domain.
This is an incredible milestone that reflects our commitment to providing safe, effective, and compassionate care, while always putting clients at the centre of what we do.
A huge thank you to our dedicated team and to everyone who supports our mission, as well as the thousands of clients who have entrusted us with their care.
Speaking after our CQC rating was confirmed, our Chief Quality and Improvement Officer, Jessica Lamb, said: 'This is a proud and exciting moment in ProblemShared's journey. We have worked tirelessly to build a service that provides safe, effective, and flexible care, always placing people at the heart of what we do.
'Listening to and learning from our clients is central to our approach; we continuously strive to improve so that we can deliver the highest possible standards of support, while helping to reduce waiting times across the UK.
'To have this commitment recognised by the CQC is a fantastic validation of our learning and improvement culture, and a real testament to the dedication of our teams.'
Who are the CQC?
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of health and social care services in England. Their inspections ensure that services are safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led.
Inspections are broken down into five categories (Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, Well-led), which can each be rated as either Outstanding, Good, Requires Improvement, Inadequate, or Not Rated.
In these categories, ProblemShared received the following ratings:
- Safe: Good
- Effective: Good
- Caring: Good
- Responsive: Outstanding
- Well-led: Good
Achieving a 'Good' rating overall, with 'Outstanding' for responsiveness, is a fantastic milestone that demonstrates the quality and consistency of the support we’re delivering.

How did we achieve this?
Since our inception in 2020, our values have been aligned with the quality standards set by the CQC. ProblemShared has invested a lot of time, money, and effort into embedding those values into our business – primarily, by making the client the central focus of our day-to-day efforts.
Ensuring we deliver the highest quality care to our clients is the foremost ambition of every single member of our team, whether they work directly with clients in a clinical or support setting or in our back office ensuring everything runs smoothly.
All of us are driven by the same desire to provide our clients with the life-changing support they need, and we are incredibly proud to see that work reflected in the CQC’s rating.
Where do we go from here?
The CQC’s report is a proud moment for us all, but the work doesn’t stop here.
Our ambition is to continue to evolve and develop our offering, making neurodevelopmental and mind health support more accessible to the millions of people across the UK seeking assessments and post-diagnostic support for themselves and their children.
