Special interest areas
My clients come from with a variety of issues, from those experiencing anxiety and loss, which can include the loss of a relationship through divorce or relationship breakdown. Clients experiencing sadness or being depressed. Clients facing life changes including loss of a job , illness etc. Also from feeling really stressed and perhaps suicidal. I have worked with people recovering from addiction to drugs and alcohol and helping them unpick their past to help them understand how and why they ended up in such a dark place. I have also worked as a counsellor at a Hospice in the East Midlands which has given me an understanding of life limiting illness and grief. I am well placed to be alongside clients on their individual journey. I have experience of counselling children and young people who have experienced significant difficulties that have impacted on their education. I also support young adults experiencing difficulties in their rapidly changing world. This can include family difficulties, bullying or having ADHD or ASD. Sometimes people can just feel a bit lost, I am adept at helping clients develop hope and a vision of how good the future can be..
