Special interest areas

I have particular experience with a wide range of age, gender and culture encountering depression, anxiety, grief, and loss. My specialisms also include working with hearing parents of Deaf children and Deaf individuals. I also have particular field experience supporting individuals and couples encountering the autistic spectrum and individuals experiencing the effects of dyslexia.

Personal Statement

My interest in counselling goes back 30 years to when I experienced how effective therapy can be. I learned how liberating it is for an individual to have the time and space to express anything they want in a safe and confidential setting. This influences my approach today and I aim to always offer the same experience to you.

My focus is on meeting your goals by working in a compassionate and accepting manner enabling you to explore your values and beliefs. Working this way enables you to help yourself, giving you a voice where you may have felt you have none.
