Special interest areas
I have over ten years of experience of working within a counselling role; most of this experience has been gained through working as a Counselling Psychologist or as an Assistant Psychologist for the NHS. I have provided psychological therapy in a range of settings, including increasing Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) services, Carers services, Community Learning Disability Teams, Autism Services, and within educational contexts..
I have a particular interest in working collaboratively with clients to ensure therapy is specifically tailored to meet their needs. I work integratively, which means that I draw upon a range of psychological approaches to help you in achieving your goals. Through collaboration, we will agree together on which approaches to follow. I can offer you a confidential space to talk and explore the issues with which you are seeking support. By focusing on your goals, we can work together to help you find your way and reach your goals.
