I understand the process of therapy to be one of facilitating greater self-understanding (whether that is of symptoms, situations, thoughts and feelings). This may include exploration of your current circumstances and also your past to see if there are issues from the past which might be interfering with the ability to live a satisfying and happy life in the present.

I see the work as collaborative – a private, confidential, safe, space where you can think about, understand, and gain knowledge and insight into your difficulties.  With support, you can explore and develop new strategies for coping which can positively affect how you think and feel about your life, circumstances and relationships.
