Special interest areas

I have a grounding in Person-Centred Counselling and also incorporate an integrative approach, using the tools that we both feel can unlock your full potential and move you forward..

Personal Statement

My Grounding as a Counsellor is the Person-Centred Approach. It promotes the idea that the relationship between counsellor and client is at the heart of successful therapy. Experts are out, teamwork is in and this is at the heart of person-centred therapy. In person centred therapy the person is the priority, not their “symptoms". When we begin to work together, we will create a safe, non-judgemental space where the issues you want to work through can be discussed openly and confidentially and we can look at ways for you to move forward. By incorporating an Integrative approach to our work, we can look at various ways to get you to where you want to be.
