Special interest areas

I am an experienced school and college counsellor. I am experienced in working with neurodiverse clients. I am also experienced in working with young adults, whose family home is outside the UK, living away from home for the first time.

Personal Statement

My core approach is person centred which is based around really exploring your thoughts and feelings to find out what is creating blockages for you and stopping you from living the life you want. This might be in relation to relationships, past experiences, work, unhealthy behaviour or you might not really be able to work out what it is - simply a feeling you carry with you.

Each person is different so I work on what each client needs. We may identify unhealthy patterns that you are stuck in or childhood experiences or relationships that still influence how you are living today. Or it could be that you feel overwhelmed and are struggling to find a way out. We will talk through the issues which could relate to anything including low mood, lack of motivation, relationships, anxiety and stress and help gain some clarity, understanding and a way to positively move forwards.
