Special interest areas

I am an experienced established practitioner and have undertaken specific training enabling me to work with LGBTQI+ 🏳️‍🌈 community. I have a deep understanding of the presenting issues faced by minorities. I also have sound experience of working with those affected by childhood abuse and sexual violence. I draw from an integrative approach and use mindfulness based strategies if appropriate to help Clients regulate the physical symptoms they may be experiencing. .

Personal Statement

I consider myself a warm relatable therapist working in non judgemental way to help clients gain insights into themselves. I hope to empower clients to understand some of their difficulties and ways of being able to manage their emotional responses. I offer an initial appointment where we talk about your reasons for seeking counselling and how we could best work together to support you. We review our work regularly and look at anything that may be causing a struggle.
