Special interest areas

I work with clients of all ages from 11 years upwards, and all genders. Although it is not the focus of my practice, I have a particular interest in helping the individual explore their identity and improve their self-confidence..

Personal Statement

I work with the individual (or individuals within a couple) to explore what they want from the counselling, and together we can consider options to help them achieve their goals. My aim is to help clients find the ways forward which work for them, rather than offering a "one-size fits all" approach. The work may include some creative work, some behavioural work, or even some homework if this is what the client wants. I always try to help clients achieve what they want within the shortest time possible, but if clients want longer term therapy or to "dip-in and out" of therapy over a longer period this can also be accommodated.
