Special interest areas

I work with clients of all ages from 16 years upwards, and all genders. Although it is not the focus of my practice, I have a particular interest in helping the individual explore their identity and improve their self-confidence..

Personal Statement

My aim is to work with the individual client to explore what they want from the counselling, and together we can consider options to help them achieve their goals. I always want to help clients find the ways forward which will work for them, rather than offering a "one-size fits all" approach. The work may include some creative work, some behavioural work, or even some homework if this is what the client wants. I always try to help clients achieve what they want within the shortest time possible, but if clients want longer term therapy or to "dip-in and out" of therapy over a longer period this can also be accommodated.
