Special interest areas
I have a lot of experience working with people affected by sexual abuse, rape and domestic abuse. More recently I have experience of working with employee wellbeing, burnout, stress and difficult dynamics at work.
People deserve to feel GOOD about themselves and free to make the life choices they need or want to. This is why I became a Counsellor. Whether the past is holding you back or the present has brought crisis, talking with an independent professional can really help find a way through.
My aim is to help get you where you want to be, in the present. Over my 16 years in practice in charities, for businesses and private individuals, I have helped people facing many different challenges. I have worked in single session, one at a time settings to longer term recovery work.
Person-Centred Therapy means we work together on your needs or issues and why, how and what YOU specifically need to recover and restore.
We can often lose our sense of self under the weight of our experiences. I LOVE to help clients reveal and be reminded of their unique strengths and wisdom so they can feel more resilience and choices in working through whatever they are dealing with. To gain confidence and understanding and show compassion to themselves in tough times.
