Special interest areas
I have a lot of experience with grief, loss and bereavement - specifically suicide bereavement and with groups experiencing stigma such as LGBTQ+ and the impact this has on self esteem and mental health.
Personal Statement
I combine person-centred therapy with a broad knowledge of mental health and wellbeing to support you to find healing. My gentle approach often suits sensitive clients and those who struggle to be vulnerable.
I work with a range of issues and specialise in bereavement including suicide/traumatic bereavement.
I welcome clients who experience stigma which may affect seeking therapy such as LGBTQ+ clients, people in unconventional relationships (polyamory, kink, bdsm), chronic health conditions & disabilities. I am Body Positive/Health at Every Size (HAES)/Intuitive Eating aligned.
I work in a client-led way - you are in charge of how much you share and what you wish to work on. I support and listen deeply and together we will search for understanding and healing from the difficulties you are experiencing. I may also offer suggestions and resources (e.g. books, podcasts) that might help you between sessions if this is helpful.
I am happy to offer a free 15 minutes telephone consultation to answer any questions.
