Personal Statement

I have six years’ experience of working in the NHS as a Counsellor and ten years working for other Counselling services including MIND.

Currently, I offer short and long term therapy to individuals through their work Occupational Health services, BUPA and the RCN.  You can see me via the telephone, or Video call. Providing convenient and accessible ways to benefit from therapy.

My qualifications are in the Person Centred Therapy with use of the Relational Approach, this theory relies on the concept that many of the ways we relate to individuals as adults were developed in our childhood.

My overall aim is help individuals change some unhelpful aspect of their life. You may be battling with anxiety or depression or need to learn to accept a new phase in your life. I hope to achieve these goals through providing you with a regular safe space in which to explore past or present concerns.

To achieve change it is important to identify a goal which is something we would try to establish early in the therapy process.
