Special interest areas

My special interests include working with both children and adults who have experienced or have witnessed traumatic events in their life, with much of work involving child abuse, sexual abuse and those who have experienced difficult parental relationships. I also have an interest in those working with those who have been impacted by either directly or indirectly with Psychosis/Personality Disorders. Working with Neurodiversity is also a particular interest of mine and the difference in the way clients process information to those who are non-neurodiverse. .

Personal Statement

I have 15 years of experience working in the field of mental health and wellbeing and have been working as a therapist in private practice for 11 years.

Throughout my career, I have been committed to treating everyone who comes into my practice as unique individuals, bringing together my skills, knowledge, and experience to provide a tailored approach to every person who comes into my practice and their individual needs.

As an experienced therapist, I understand that reaching out for help and support can be, for some a scary step to take, however I have an enthusiastic and unwavering belief that no matter how big the problem may be or how difficult things may feel, there is always hope and change is always possible no matter what.

I believe that with the right support, compassion and understanding, the therapeutic journey can be empowering and liberating and can offer an opportunity for healing, change and growth.
