Special interest areas

I work with adults presenting with a range of anxiety disorders and /or depression. I have worked with a diverse client base; from students to adults in their 80s.

Personal Statement

Sometimes anxiety builds up, interferes with our lives and gets in the way of happiness. Feeling really anxious or low can be overwhelming, but you can overcome it. Having developed my own coping strategies and changing the way I engage with my anxious thoughts, I made the decision to train to become a psychotherapist in order to help other people to do the same.


If you are feeling a little overwhelmed by anxiety, then Cognitive Behavioural Therapy could help you too. I am friendly, non-judgemental and approachable and I aim to work together with you to help reduce the anxiety and distress you might be currently feeling. We will use tried and tested CBT protocols, which have a long-established evidence base, to help develop a toolkit of strategies to use to promote positive change. I also like to incorporate Mindfulness techniques into my practice, where appropriate.
