Personal Statement

I’m an experienced counsellor and know that, whatever the difficulty we are facing, we need to explore the thoughts behind our feelings to become happier. I’ll help you find a way to explore your thoughts and feelings, step by step until you can reveal the unhelpful thoughts which hold you down. I use a number of different therapeutic tools to do this which is why I being trained in Integrative approaches is so helpful. This journey takes a lot of trust as, to get the most from counselling you need to become totally vulnerable and open. As a Person Centered counsellor who knows that this relationship is at the core of any successful counselling work, I will be investing in this from session one when we will talk through what you are hoping for. From then on we begin with hope and travel with trust.
