Special interest areas

The focus of my practice is to provide a safe space where people feel comfortable and able to explore what ever issues they want to bring. I work in a predominantly solution focussed way and am particularly interested in supporting my clients to develop self-confidence and personal agency. For example, if we become aware of why we behave in certain ways or why we repeat destructive patterns of behaviour, we can develop choices and strategies to change. .

Personal Statement

I place the relationship between myself and my clients as being key to successful therapy. I am interested in what my clients bring, what their life experiences are and how they interact in the world. I am particularly interested in balancing and integrating how we feel, behave, think and speak. If we can balance these aspects of ourselves, we can experience greater sense of self and agency.
