Personal Statement
I am a fully trained and experienced counsellor and therapeutic coach, using the person-centred approach, which is a talking therapy. I also offer the Fusion therapeutic coaching system if appropriate. I see each client as a unique person and my way of working respects and values this individuality.
Counselling while being my calling, offers help and relief from life's problems. I have worked in two voluntary general counselling agencies, private practice and with a young person's school counselling service in Lancashire. After relocating I have counselled in a Stockton counselling charity and in private practice in North Yorkshire.
I feel that the client knows themselves best and clients tell me that my gentle counselling style offers non-judgemental listening, which helps them feel at ease in our sessions, enabling a helpful and trusting collaborative partnership to be established.
