Personal Statement

My practice often focuses on acceptance and commitment therapy including mindfulness. This involves helping clients to identify their value systems and encouraging them to work towards these despite their emotional challenges.

The mindfulness I use helps clients to be aware of the here and now and ground themselves when they feel overwhelmed.

I pride myself on working together with clients to understand their problem thoroughly and work on practical solutions together. I like to think that therapy with me is collaborative and challenging in a way that helps the people I work with to move forwards in the direction that matters to them.
