Personal Statement

Welcome. You don’t need to keep struggling alone. Counselling aims to empower you - increasing your capacity to cope with difficult life challenges, as well as to enjoy what life has to offer. As I commit to being present for you each week, you will have the opportunity to commit to yourself and your own wellbeing. The first appointment enables me to understand more about you and your needs, and if we feel we are a good fit. We may decide to meet me for a fixed number of sessions for support with a particular issue, or we can work in an open-ended way if you would like longer-term support. I work relationally – meaning that our relationship is at the heart of the work. This is an important foundation for building trust and working through the issues that may be holding you back.

I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor/Psychotherapist and an Accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)
