Special interest areas

I have a specific interest in trauma related work. I will use EMDR for this work which you may find is less intrusive than reliving the memories. I have many years’ experience working to support adults with various psychological difficulties.

Personal Statement

I am someone who keeps the person and the relationship at the heart of therapy I will use all my skills and knowledge to help someone find their way through life’s difficulties.

Building on the strengths of every client I will support them to gain new skills and strategies to implement in their lives. We will then get to know each other and you can see if you feel comfortable working through your problems with me.

I will initially spend time finding out about someone’s life and their current difficulties. We can then focus on the most important areas you would like to work on. We can then have sessions where I can help you make connections to the past and current behaviour which may be linked and explore together new ways of looking at thinking and behaving.
