Personal Statement

My practice is currently only online. I run an inclusive practise for Black, Asian, Indigenous people, people of colour and clients from ethnic, linguistic, religious and other minorities. I also am an LGBTQ+ and gender aware therapist. I have expertise in disability, development and neuro-diversity. My service is flexible, adaptable and scientifically informed to work with neuro-diverse and disabled clients. You should expect to feel welcome and treated with respect, without judgement. I will commit to invest in understanding your circumstances and experiences from your own point of view. I will tailor my approach and pace to suit your needs. At times, I can work creatively using metaphors, stories, dreams and imagery. When useful, I draw skills from brief therapy theories, such as Solution Focused Therapy and Focusing. I will help you discuss and assess the length of time in counselling that is relevant and suitable for you and your circumstances. Endings is an important part of therapy and I will help you talk about ending therapy to my best capacity.
