I have a wealth of experience working alongside developmental trauma (young people, adults, families, parents, carers, looked after / care leavers) in therapeutic communities and individuals, utilising DDP to accept, empathise, and be curious whilst working with attachment issues. I have experience working with all ages, gender, sexual identity, with some specific focus on males and LGBTQ community (as well as all inclusive approach for everybody). I have experience working face to face, telephone, and digitally via video and text..

Personal Statement

I am a warm, compassionate, welcoming therapist utilising curiosity, empathy, and acceptance, to support and be alongside you. I have a lot of experience working alongside developmental trauma, which could be childhood abuse or neglect, and have worked extensively with young people, adults, families, parents, carers, looked after / care leavers, in therapeutic communities and individuals in sessions, as well as group therapy and family therapy, utilising DDP (Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy) to accept, empathise, and be curious whilst working with attachment issues. I have experience working with all ages, gender, sexual identity, with some specific focus on males and LGBTQ community (as well as all inclusive approach for everybody). I have many resources and therapeutic approaches we can draw on to best meet your needs, which we’d discuss together, assessing what you might want and need, all with a focus on keeping you safe and providing a warm, safe relationship and environment. I will always be open and transparent with you, and like to take things at your pace, getting to know each other and building trust at whatever pace you might need within the number of sessions we can agree and review together. I like to provide a space that feels comfortable and if you’re unsure what to say or do, that’s absolutely fine and I can ask questions to help us to build a rapport. Above all, I’m here to join you and be alongside you, supporting you in whatever place you are in, emotionally, and through to the other side.
