Personal Statement

I am a sensitive and perceptive person, and in my counselling sessions I use an appropriate balance between support and challenge, depending on the needs of the person I am working with. I help my clients build their self-awareness as well as open up new and empowering ways of viewing their lives.

I am an integrative counsellor, which means I am able to use a number of counselling approaches according to the needs of my clients. My main approach is Humanistic Counselling, but I have also had extensive training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

I counsel  people with a wide range of presenting issues, such as anxiety, depression, low confidence and relationship issues.
