Special interest areas

My particular area of focus would be that of LGBT+ having worked in this field since qualification. However, I also have extensive experience of working with anxiety, depression, self-harm, suicide and other generalist issues .

Personal Statement

I would describe myself as being flexible. Therapy needs to be something that is tailored towards individual needs, and I feel that an “out of the box” style helps with this. During my training my core model was cognitive behaviour therapy, and this is where we would work together on your thought process and how this interacts with your life as a whole. There is no such thing as one style fits all! When working with my clients they are at the centre of everything. Sessions are arranged around the client’s availability and their chosen method of interaction whether that be telephone or video contact. I firmly believe that you are the expert on you! So, in our sessions together we would collaboratively explore what you would like to bring to therapy and agree targeted goals and outcomes for this. Let's help you be all you can be and more!
